Day 1 - Arrival at Cochin Airport/Railway Station
Cochin - Upon your arrival at Cochin airport/railway station, you will be received by our representative and will proceed to the hotel to check-in. After getting yourself fresh, will proceed to Kochi which is the city in southwest India’s beautiful coastal areas for sightseeing to Mattancherry Palace, The Jew Town & Jewish Synagogue, Santa Cruz Basilica, St. Francis Church and Chinese Fishing Nets. Optional activity - Cochin Harbor sightseeing cruise (Cochin has one of the finest natural harbors in the world. Overnight stay at the hotel in Cochin.
Day 2 - Sightseeing in Munnar
Munnar –. When you arrive at Kochi airport you will be received by our representative and will proceed on a 4.5 hours drive to Munnar. On the way, alongside you can see many waterfalls like Valara & Cheeyappara waterfalls, Karadippara view point and Plantations etc. where you can have a refreshing experience. Between Kothamangalam and next town “Adimali”, you can experience a beautiful cool drive through a natural forest. Alongside, you can see many refreshing waterfalls where you can take some rest. Munnar, also known as the Kashmir of South India and with its impeccable beauty has become the most sought after destination for a weekend holiday and for honeymoon. Once you arrive at Munnar, check-in to the hotel/resort and relax for the rest of the day and enjoy a campfire and cooking demonstration in the evening. Overnight stay at the hotel/resort.
Day 3 - Visiting Munnar
Munnar- After breakfast, spend the day in local sight seeing and Munnar drives its name from the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundale. Mattupetty is a popular picnic spot where you can opt for activities like boating and horse riding. Close by is the Echo Point, which offers you a panoramic view and the thrill of hearing your voice echo. Pothenmedu, Blossom Hydel Park, Rose Garden, Tea Museum (Tea Museum closed on Monday), Chithirapuram, Nayamakad and Power House Waterfalls are other popular sightseeing spots. Overnight stay at the hotel/resort.
Day 4 - Thekkady Sightseeing
Thekkady - After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to Thekkady, on arrival check-in at the resort. Thekkady is well known for one of the world's most fascinating wild life reserves - Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. The Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary in Thekkady is spread across 777 sq km and is well known for its wild life and scenic beauty and you can opt for a cruise on Lake Periyar. During the boat ride spot the wild life (Elephants, Indian Gaur, Monkeys, Spotted deer, barking deer and birds of myriad varieties). Thekkady is considered as a heaven for natural spices such as black pepper, cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg, nutmace, ginger, and clove. Overnight stay at the resort.
Day 5 - Visiting Alleppey
Alleppey – After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and proceed to Alleppey. Starting from Alleppey we will pass through Nedumudi , Chennamkary, Kainakary, Meenapally Kayal (Lake), Pallathuruthy and return back to Alleppey. Enjoy the awesome scenery of the Kerala backwater cruise -skim past Chinese fishing nets, bowed down paddy fields, local inhabitants engaged in making coir products, rustic homes and swaying coconut palms. All meals will be served on board. Overnight stay at houseboat. Following day to-check in the hotel to proceed further for sight seeing such as Alappuzha Beach,
Vembanad Lake, Krishnapuram palace, Nehru Trophy Boat Race Finishing Point, Pathiramanal and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 6 - Visiting Kumarakom
Kumarakom: While every inch of Kumarakom is beautiful, there are top 8 places to visit such as Vembanad Lake which is the largest lake in Kerala, Aruvikkuzhi waterfalls , more than 100 feet high water falls is a famous picnic spot. It falls in five steps and it is an ideal location to be photographed. Located amidst rubber plantations, the wooden landscape and the streams flowing down make the place one of the most picturesque waterfalls and if you love to trek, you can have a still greater time here. All meals will be served on board. Overnight stay at houseboat. Following day to-check in the hotel to proceed further for sightseeing such as Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, Kumarakom beach & back waters, Pathiramanal means the ‘sand of night’ and Juma Masjid is an ancient mosque that is over 1000 years old. It is also called Thazhathangadi Mosque.
Day 7 – Day 8 - Visiting Kovalam
After breakfast check-out from the houseboat and proceed to Kovalam which is a picture of perfect tropical beach; a traditional fishing village providing fresh fish, fruits and toddy. Check-in to the resort for two days. Enjoy the grilled seafood items such as lobster, king prawns and calamari are got fresh from the sea at Kovalam. Kovalam is known as the paradise of south and enjoy swimming in the pacific and shallow beaches that is ideal for year round swimming. Kovalam was among the most prominent tourist spots in India during the hippy era. It still has a high status among tourists, who arrive mostly from Europe and Israel. Kovalam is finding a new significance in the light of several Ayurvedic salons, and recuperation and regeneration resorts which provide a wide variety of Ayurvedic treatments for tourists. Kovalam has three beaches separated by rocky outcroppings in its 17 km coastline, the three together form the famous crescent of the Kovalam beach.
Day 9 - Kanyakumari
After breakfast check-out from the resort and proceed towards Kanyakumari. Visit Padmanabhapuram Palace and Suchindram Temple on the way. Kanyakumari is famous for Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Mahatma Gandhi memorial and Thiruvalluvar Statue. Enjoy boat trips, beach and visit to the memorial. Return to Trivandrum which is the capital city of Kerala and check-in for overnight stay.
Day 10 - Tour Ends & Departure
After breakfast check-out from the hotel and proceed to Cochin or Trivandrum. We will pick you up and drive to Trivandrum/Cochin International Airport or Railway Station for your trip back home, with the wonderful experience you had
